with the Neurosurgery Medical Director and Neurosurgery unit director,
staff nurses, discharge coordinator, and staff physicians in the

Major areas of responsibility include: primary medical management,
emergency stabilization of all critically ill patients, teaching of
residents and medical students, staff development and education,
patient education and discharge planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor degree in Physician Assistant Medicine or Health Sciences or
graduate of an Approved Physician Assistant Training Program (as
appropriate for PAs). Current LA state licensure as a Physician
Assistant. BCLS current certification as required. 3 - 5 years related
experience in related field preferred. Demonstrate competency of any
procedures not addressed in Core Responsibilities Standard to Physician
Assistant Education and attests to them annually wit the Supervising
Physician. LA Physician Assistant Prescriptive Authority eligible.
Current

Family Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join an established
Psychiatrist in private practice. The NP would be working in an
out-patient clinic setting with office hours of Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm.
The volume would be 25 patients per day. The practice is geared towards
functioning children/adolescents and adults that require predominantly
out-patient treatment with very little in-patient management /consults.
Call would consist of entirely of consults only on medical patients
with mental issues and would be a max of 10 days per month (mostly
triage). Salary is negotiable but the current range is $85,000 -
$95,000+ (D.O.E), full benefits including medical, dental, 401K with
match, $5,000 Sign-on Bonus, CME and $1,500 CME allowance.
$5,000 relocation package and a $5,000 sign-on bonus for the right
